The successful reduction of the national rate of poverty was achieved through economic growth and the three clusters of poverty alleviation programmes.

The success of poverty alleviation is highly dependent on the ability to identify targeted beneficiaries for the programmes. With this in mind, the role of data and indicators becomes very important.

This website attempts to provide comprehensive information on the Unified Database (BDT), one of TNP2K's main products and an indicator of people’s welfare (IKR).
